September 1974 Established as a chemical trading company wholly owned by
Kanematsu Corporation, with a capital of 25 million yen in Chuo-ku,
Tokyo.
October 1974 Started operations.
March 1975 Osaka Sales Branch opened.
September 1978 Toyama Branch Office opened.
April 1983 Nagoya Sales Branch opened.
March 1986 Capital increased to 100 million yen.
April 1989 The status of Osaka/Nagoya sales offices was raised to branch.
September 1999 Osaka and Nagoya Branches closed.
March 2002 Capital increased to 300 million yen.
Renamed Kanematsu Chemicals Corporation.
April 2002 Osaka Branch reopened.
Renewed Kanematsu Chemicals as a chemical specialist started.
March 2005 Tokyo Headquarters obtained ISO 14001 certification.
September 2005 Acquired Kowashouji Co.,Ltd.
March 2006 Osaka Branch obtained ISO 14001 certification.
Toyama Sales Branch closed.
December 2008 Acquired Nagasawashouji Co.,Ltd.
March 2009 Tokyo Headquarters relocated to Ningyo-cho, Chuo-ku.
October 2009 Consolidated Kowashouji Co.,Ltd.
November 2010 Osaka Branch relocated to Kyutarou-machi, Chuo-ku, Osaka-city.
April 2012 Consolidated Nagasawashouji Co.,Ltd.
